Serving others thus comes by helping them to achieve and improve.” So the father you climb to ladder, the more you need to spend time at the bottom. Your role as a leader effects more than just the work life of a person. Make it a great experience all the way around. Remember the best things in life are never easy.

If you want people to follow, be the type of person you would want to follow. Case and point, don’t be a jerk.

Why does this matter so much? Think of some of the leaders you see around you. Which ones get the best attention? We may love people like Floyd Mayweather, but we surely don’t want to be like him because he has no humility. Then, look at someone like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He had a humble attitude toward leadership. And, which of these two men will be remembered hundreds of years from now? Which do you think will have an impact on generations in the future?
