Video Internship Program
Practice Makes Pcereft
Be a part of a Video Internship Program that doesn’t suck. If you are a student and want to get involved in high-end commercial video production, House of Sticks might just be the perfect place for you. While we know its important to chase your dreams, we also know you want to get some awesome experience on-set and earn credit towards your degree. This isn’t a sissy, coffee grabbing, paper pushing internship where you will be treated like a student. There will be some coffee getting sure, but we make a lot of effort into developing talent.
First of all, we do this by letting you ask questions. It seems like there aren’t many places willing to let you in if you don’t know the lingo, not here. Rather, we prefer to speak like real people do. Probably, this will be the best learning opportunity you could imagine. Its just what you hoped school would be. Consequently, if you want to be a DP, our Director of Photography can answer you questions on set… same with the Key Grips, Gaffer, Producers, Camera Ops and even the Director. Just let us know what avenue you want to pursue. In conclusion, this is a great place to get your start.

Internship Application
The new internship application 2023
It’s really hands on
Literally, you will be shadowing someone on set or rotating through a few positions. Keep in mind though, they are real working sets, so there are some rules. Of course, the success of the project is of utmost importance but the best way to learn is by actually doing it. Especially relevant if you’ve been stuck in a class room for 3 years dreaming about working with the best tools and people around. We don’t shoot everyday, which means there are some days where you won’t do anything. Most of the job is spent in the office, making relationships and creating budgets in Excel (sad face). We can show you how to do that as well. Come be a part of an exceptional story. And make it your own. Apply today.
