A win for Maroon 5 – Sugar

I don’t know what took me so long to see this video but, it is fabulous. Take 5 minutes and take a look in case you haven’t already seen it.

Great example of a good idea and good execution coming together.

If Happy by Pharrell won an award for having the “feel good” music video of the year last year, Maroon 5 just won it for this year. Check it out here.

There are most certainly some staged portions of it. Hard to sneak in a boom into a wedding reception. Hard to have enough light in the reception to shoot slow motion, but thats not the point. Its good. Its really good. If its staged, or totally real this video is a fantastic idea. There’s no denying some of the reactions are completely authentic. Making a music video of this caliber takes a great amount of planning and buy in so bravo to the creative minds and producers behind this one. Were you not entertained?
